Membership FAQ

What is included in a paid membership?

Your membership includes the following:

  • Lower per class rate
  • Belt promotions fees

  • Discount on camps, 720-sponsored training events, and 720 merchandise

What is not included in a paid membership

All members will be required to purchase training uniform and shoes separately.

Is there a registration fee?

There are no additional registration fees.

How do I pay for a membership?

The preferred payment method is by credit card through your student account accessible via our website. Please note full payment is required in order to attend any class.

What is the makeup policy for missed classes?

Please discuss makeup classes with a 720 staff member. The makeup policy for missed classes varies slightly depending on your membership plan:

Unlimited membership

  • For planned or unplanned absences, unlimited membership holders can make up by attending additional classes before or after the absence.
  • For extended absences of 2 weeks or more, we will credit your next membership renewal based on the time absent up to 6 weeks total per year. Please note that absences during planned academy closures are not credited. 
  • For example, if you intend to miss 2 weeks of class, we will credit you the cash value of two weeks tuition towards your next membership payment.

2 or 1 class/week membership

  • For planned or unplanned absences, you will have the flexibility to attend more classes before or after your absent period.
  • For example, if you are regularly attending 2x classes per week, you will have the flexibility to attend 3 or more classes per week before or after your absent period to ensure adequate makeup of missed classes.
  • For extended absences of 2 weeks or more, we will credit your next renewal based on the number of classes missed up to 12 classes per year. Remaining classes will be deducted by the same amount credited. Please note that absences during planned academy closures are not credited.

We do not extend current memberships for absences as they will be credited in subsequent renewals.

Competition Team classes

  • For planned or unplanned absences resulting in a missed Competition Team class, makeup is eligible, and we will credit your next Competition Team renewal based on the time absent. Current memberships are not extended for absences. Discuss this with a 720 staff member.

What if my membership coincides with planned academy closures?

Our membership options provide the flexibility to work around holidays and closures. Please see the makeup policy section for more details.

What is the policy for attending unlimited classes?

Unlimited members can join any class that matches their skill level. If you're unsure about suitable classes, just chat with a 720 staff member.

Can I only sign up for a 1-month or 4-weeks membership option?

We require a minimum 12-week commitment. For more flexibility, students can attend classes on a drop-in basis, but they must book and pay in advance on our website.

How does a student get invited to the 720 Competition Team?

Attendance in the Competition Team class is by invitation at the coach's discretion. Given the extended and demanding nature of the class hours, students are required to exhibit a high level of proficiency in fundamentals and discipline to qualify for participation in the competition class.

For advanced training classes, do I need to stay for the full 2 hours?

Yes, the advanced classes are intended to run for 2-hours. All advanced class participants must be able to commit for the entire 2-hours in order to attend the class.

Does 720 offer private coaching?

Certainly! If you're interested in private coaching, feel free to contact us. Once we've paired you with a private coach, all scheduling and coordination will be handled directly with them. The rates for private coaching will be determined by the specific coach you choose.
