Head Coach, Founder
With over 30 years of Wushu experience and more than a decade of coaching, Coach Brian has an impressive track record, including winning the combined event gold medal at the 2022 World Games, securing Pan-American Wushu gold in 2014 and 2018, and serving as one of the most seasoned members of the US National Wushu Team for over a decade. Additionally, Coach Brian has been the Head Coach for both the UIUC and Columbia University Wushu teams.

Nick Sun (εζΊζ°)
Kids Coach, Founder
Coach Nick is a highly accomplished Wushu athlete with over 17 years of experience in the sport. He has claimed gold at the Golden State International Wushu Championship from 2022 to 2024 and secured the gold medal at the 2024 Pan-American Wushu Tournament. In addition to his competitive achievements, Coach Nick has served as the Head Coach for Spartan Wushu and as an instructor at Evergreen Wushu, showcasing his leadership and dedication to the art of Wushu.

Chuan Chen (ιε·)
Adult Coach, Founder
Coach Chuan is an accomplished Wushu coach with a broad martial arts background and a proven track record of success. He has coached two Pan-American Wushu medalists, William Vo and Charisse Hung, who have earned both gold and silver. As the former Head Coach of UCLA Wushu and the 2019 National Collegiate Wushu Champion, Coach Chuan brings a wealth of competitive experience. In addition to Wushu, he is skilled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kali, and wrestling, further enriching his diverse martial arts expertise.

Sam Montalvo, PhD
Jumps & Tumbling Lead, Founder
Coach Sam is the Head Coach of the National Mexican Junior Wushu Team and a distinguished five-time international Wushu medalist, representing Mexico since 2009. In addition to his athletic achievements, he is a post-doctoral research fellow in exercise science and medicine at Stanford University. Coach Sam also leads scientific Wushu research collaborations with countries such as Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, and Brazil, contributing to the advancement of the sport through both coaching and academic research.

Anna Lymych
Coach
Coach Anna Lymych brings 17 years of athletic experience as one of the most decorated athletes from the Ukrainian National Wushu Team, having won numerous medals in both world and European competitions. With extensive experience in coaching Wushu to children, she has also held key leadership roles within the Ukrainian and Odessa Wushu Federations, showcasing her deep commitment to the sport both as an athlete and a leader in the Wushu community!

Natalie Sun
Coach
Coach Natalie Sun has 15 years of Wushu experience and an impressive competitive record, earning medals at the 24th and 25th Annual Wushu Collegiate Competitions, the 2024 Golden State International Wushu Championship, and the 2024 1st Pan-American Wushu Tournament. She also served as Co-President of UCLA's Wushu team.
Specialization: Longfist and Straightsword
