Class Policy FAQ

What is the class uniform and dress policy?

  • All students must wear the full academy uniform, including the academy t-shirt, belt, and pants, for all classes.
  • Training shoes are also required and can be purchased via our website. We do not allow outdoor shoes or barefoot training.
  • To ensure a comfortable and focused training environment, students should keep long or loose hair neatly tied up.
  • Please note that we have a 3-strike policy for uniforms. Upon the third instance, we will require the student to purchase any missing uniform items before being allowed to join the class.

Can I stay to watch my child’s class?

We absolutely encourage parents to observe our classes from the comfort of our glass-windowed lobby. Please note that the training area itself is reserved for registered students and coaches only. To ensure a smooth learning environment, we kindly request that parents refrain from entering the training area without prior permission from a staff member, as this could disrupt ongoing classes.

Who is allowed in the training area?

Only registered students are permitted to enter the training area during their scheduled class hours. Parents and non-registered students are not allowed access when class is in session.

What is the class booking policy?

Students must book all classes at least 12 hours in advance in their student portal. Classes will have limited spots so we may not be able to accommodate non-bookings if classes are fully booked. Please note classes may be canceled due to low expected attendance.

What is the class check-in policy?

Students must check-in at the front desk or kiosk before joining any class. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts for adequate time to check-in.

What time do classes begin and end?

Classes start exactly on the hour. Students are expected to be in the training area by that time as the training area doors will be closed. Classes length run 45/55-min depending on the age group.

What is the late-to-class policy?

Students arriving late must wait by the training area entrance until the coach grants them entry onto the training floors, minimizing disruption to ongoing classes. If students are more than 15 minutes late, they will be asked to reschedule or take the subsequent class instead if appropriate.

What is the class exit procedure?

When class is over, students must leave the training area. Coaches will need to prepare for the upcoming class and therefore cannot supervise students.

What is the bathroom policy?

Students should use the bathroom before class. If needed, students may use the restrooms but note that class will not be paused. Students under age of 6 will require parental supervision to use the bathrooms at all times.

Parents in the lobby should be aware that the bathrooms are located behind closed training area doors when class is in session. It is advised to use the restroom between classes. In case of emergencies, parents can ask staff members for access to the training area bathrooms. If classes are still in session, please ensure the training area doors are securely closed behind you.

What are the equipment use rules?

For safety reasons, students are strictly prohibited from independently accessing any training equipment within our facility. Please ensure that all equipment use is under the direct supervision of a coach to minimize the risk of injuries. We will ask students and parents to pay for any damages to equipment or facility resulting from misuse.

What is our training weapon policy?

Certain classes will incorporate weapons training, and adherence to strict rules is mandatory. Students must follow specified guidelines for holding weapons when not actively practicing and maintain proper conduct during weapon training sessions. Continuous disregard for these rules will result in immediate removal from the class for the day, with the student being asked to wait on the side.

What is our food/drink policy?

No food is allowed in the training area. Drinks in closed containers are allowed in the training area. Please use the designated trash bins to dispose of your food/drink items. For example, do not throw your food or drinks away in bathroom trash bins.
